WiredVillage Boardgames Launches Initiative to Bring Storytelling, Teamwork, and Creativity into Classrooms Across the Province

Pictou, NS — April 24th — WiredVillage Boardgames is giving away free Dungeons & Dragons Teacher Kits to educators across Nova Scotia to support creativity, literacy, and collaborative learning in classrooms and libraries.

Each kit includes a ready-to-play D&D starter set, complete with dice, character sheets, and a quick-start guide tailored for teachers — no experience required. The program is designed for grades 6–12 and encourages imaginative, inclusive storytelling experiences.

“D&D is more than a game — it’s a way for students to build confidence, work together, and think creatively,” said Brian Vienneau, owner of WiredVillage. “We’re excited to support teachers in bringing these adventures to life.”

Kits can be picked up at WiredVillage Boardgames in Pictou or at a designated pickup location in Dartmouth. Educators can apply online while supplies last.
