Wildlands is a fast-paced tactical skirmish game set in a post-apocalyptic fantasy world where the great Empire has fallen and lawless ruins are all that remain.

You take control of one of four unique factions — from spell-slinging Mages to nimble Gnomads, versatile Lawbringers, or hard-hitting Pit Fighters — and battle across the Wildlands to collect shattered arcane crystals before your rivals do. Each faction plays completely differently, giving the game tons of variety and replayability.

We haven't played this one yet, but the faction asymmetry and skirmish-style gameplay look like a great combination. It's the kind of game that seems like it would be easy to pick up but with plenty of depth once you know your faction well. A solid pick for fans of combat games with a fantasy twist.
