Warhammer 40k Orks : Megatrakk Scrapjet

Megatrakk Scrapjets are a favorite with Speed Freaks and Flyboyz grounded for lack of a craft. These machines provide insane acceleration, massive firepower, and the hilarious ability to literally punch through enemy lines in what is essentially a giant, self-propelled drill. They're perfect for Flyboyz rebuilding their fortunes who still want to get back in a cockpit and remember the good old days of slaughtering the enemy with point-blank fire (which is often the reason for the crash that ended their dreams). Explosions pepper the enemy lines once the rokettes and wing-mounted missiles zoom toward their targets. Meanwhile, the tail gunner opens fire with his big guns—the riveted, bolted, and welded arsenal attached to a Megatrakk Scrapjet is formidable.

This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble a Megatrakk Scrapjet. Built around the fuselage of a downed Ork aircraft, the Scrapjet is essentially a metal tube decked out with deadly goodies—a rocket launcher (belt-fed!), missile-laden fins that can be depicted taking flight, a foreuz attached to the turbine and lined with spurs, a large twin-gun at the front and another at the rear manned by a Grot gunner. The wings were blown off when the Scrapjet suffered its terrible crash, but stubs and fins remain—enough to keep the Flyboy happy! Said pilot wears his trappings: a jacket, goggles, and a long scarf, and sits in a cockpit full of instruments (which he superbly ignores). As for propulsion, the Scrapjet itself is a half-tracked machine powered by a powerful jet engine.

This kit comes in 65 components, plus a Citadel 150mm Oval base.
