Seaside is a lightweight strategy game made entirely of wooden tokens, where players draw pieces from a bag and decide how to use them to build the highest-scoring stack.

On your turn, you draw a token and choose which side to use. Some tokens go into a shared central area (the “sea”) and can give you extra turns, while others are kept in front of you to score points. The key is how these tokens interact—many let you collect or steal tokens based on what’s already in the sea or in other players’ areas.

There’s a strong push-your-luck element: adding tokens to the sea can set up bigger future turns… but might also give your opponents a huge opportunity if you don’t capitalize on it in time.

At the end of the game, players stack all the tokens they’ve collected, and the highest stack wins.
