About the Product
The café is packed, the orders are piling up, and everyone is trying very hard not to forget who wanted the iced latte.
In Order Overload: Cafe, players work together as café staff trying to remember a rush of drink orders. At the start of a round, order cards are shown and read aloud so everyone can try to memorize them. Then those cards are dealt face down to the players.
On your turn, you need to name an order that is in someone else’s hand. Guess correctly, and that order is revealed. Guess wrong, and you’re out for the rest of the round. If the team can reveal enough orders before everyone is eliminated, you clear the level and move on to a harder challenge.
It’s a cooperative memory game where forgetting is half the fun. The rules are simple, the rounds are quick, and the table will almost certainly end up saying things like, “I know someone had hot coffee… unless I completely invented that.” Tiny café panic in a tiny box.
Order Overload: Cafe plays 2–6 players in about 20 minutes and is recommended for ages 6+. It was designed by Jun Sasaki and published by Oink Games.
What We Think
We haven’t played Order Overload: Cafe yet, but this sounds like a great fit for families, casual gamers, and people who enjoy memory games that create laughter instead of homework.
The cooperative structure is appealing because everyone is trying to survive the order rush together. It also sounds very easy to teach: remember the drinks, guess what other players have, and hope your brain doesn’t turn into cappuccino foam.
This looks like one of those Oink Games titles that can work well as a quick warm-up, a family game, or a light party-style game for people who don’t want a long rules explanation.
Why You Might Like It
You might like Order Overload: Cafe if you enjoy cooperative games, memory games, café themes, or quick games that are easy to explain to almost anyone.
It should be a nice choice for families, newer gamers, and groups who want something light, portable, and funny without needing a big table or a long setup.
