Clash of Clans: The Epic Raid brings the hit mobile game to the tabletop, with players building up their village, setting defenses, deploying troops, and raiding rival bases.

We haven’t had a chance to play this one yet, but it’s definitely on our radar. The design team includes Eric M. Lang, one of the biggest names in modern board games, along with Ken Gruhl, so there’s a lot of reason to be curious about how Clash of Clans translates to the table.

This looks like a good pick for fans of the video game, players who enjoy attacking and defending, and anyone who likes a big, energetic strategy game with plenty of table presence.
