About the Product

Your trip to Venice is almost over, but there’s still one very important thing left to do: buy souvenirs.

In Souvenirs from Venice, players move their gondolas through the canals, searching for the right souvenirs before time runs out. Each turn, you’ll roll the die, move your gondola, and decide which nearby tiles are worth buying. The trick is that the souvenir tiles become easier to find as the game goes on, but waiting too long can cost you the flight home.

You’re trying to collect valuable sets, keep an eye on what other players are grabbing, and make it back before everything is gone. It’s quick, charming, and has that classic Oink Games small-box energy: simple rules, clever choices, and a lot more tension than the tiny box suggests.

Souvenirs from Venice plays 2–5 players in about 30 minutes and is recommended for ages 8+. It is designed by Jun Sasaki and Goro Sasaki, the design duo behind Deep Sea Adventure.

What We Think

We haven’t played Souvenirs from Venice yet, but this one immediately caught our attention because it comes from Oink Games, a publisher known for making small-box games that still feel sharp and memorable.

The theme is easy to understand, the gondolas and souvenir shopping give it a fun table presence, and the gameplay looks like a nice mix of luck, timing, and set collection. It seems like the kind of game that could work well as a family-weight strategy game or as a quick filler with just enough bite to keep everyone watching the board.

Also, “race back to the airport before your souvenir hunt gets out of control” is a surprisingly relatable board game problem.

Why You Might Like It

You might like Souvenirs from Venice if you enjoy compact games with simple rules and meaningful little decisions. It should be a good fit for fans of Oink Games, family games, set collection, dice movement, and quick games that still create a bit of pressure.

It’s also a nice pick if you want something portable, colourful, and easy to teach without being completely automatic. A tiny cardboard vacation with just enough panic in the luggage.
