On your turn, you can only draft a card if it isn’t covered by another one. This turns every single choice into a high-stakes puzzle; taking the card you desperately need might uncover a powerhouse card that your opponent can now grab on their turn.

Every civilization gets its own plastic storage tray containing its specific deck and puzzle-piece Wonder parts, meaning setup and teardown take about two minutes. The drafting has also been stripped of any friction: you just look at the top face-up card of the deck to your left, the face-up card to your right, or pull a mystery card from the face-down center deck.
